As the Director of the Oakland University Art Gallery, Goody has curated over 60 exhibitions and is responsible for their corresponding catalogues focusing largely on contemporary art, artist's books and ethnographic objects.
Goody's paintings have been featured in gallery exhibitions regionally and internationally, most recently, The Decay of Lying, at The Butcher’s Daughter Contemporary Art gallery in 2010. He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Slade School of Fine Art in London.
A connoisseur of fiction and non-fiction writing genres, Goody has been published in both. During his 2014 sabbatical he focused primarily on publishing pursuits for a novella entitled "The Dauphine," as well the creation of over 50 illustrations and a corresponding series of paintings.
