As the Director of the Oakland University Art Gallery, Goody has curated over 60 exhibitions and is responsible for their corresponding catalogues focusing largely on contemporary art, artist's books and ethnographic objects.

Goody earned his M.F.A. from the Slade School of Art in London. He has exhibited his work in London, New York, and Detroit. His most recent solo exhibition will be at the N'Namdi Center for Contemporary Art in winter 2015.
A connoisseur of fiction and non-fiction writing genres, Goody has been published in both. During his 2014 sabbatical he focused primarily on publishing pursuits for a novella entitled "The Dauphine," as well the creation of over 50 illustrations and a corresponding series of paintings.
